JB: A lame and essentially useless repackaging of Osmium. Note, it's not actually credited to Parliament but 'George Clinton and Parliament.'
RC: I took one look at this in the store and said, "Huh?" The only thing that I could think of was that they somehow improved the sound quality, but this doesn't seem likely. Get First Thangs instead. The only other thing I could think of was that George (or someone) somehow got the rights to these songs and was looking to make a buck.
MT: This is the rip-off version of First Thangs with half the tracks deleted. What a weird thing for a record label to do - they stopped pressing First Thangs then they put out a new CD - with only about half the tracks (it doesn't even contain the entire Osmium album) and a modern looking picture of George on the cover? What's even worse is they recycled the First Thangs liner notes - which refers to songs which aren't even included on the disc!
