Personnel:

Producer: George Clinton

Rating: RC: (see comments below)

Comments: (same as for Volume I of the series)

RC: The track by track review will have to wait til sometime at the end of the century! :-) Seriously, this is a Clinton project that encourages artists to sample his work in an easy way. It was released on vinyl as well as the usual formats. An artist can use a sample getting a license, which is free. Then, the Clinton camp gets paid based on however much you might make from the sample.

I actually sort of enjoy listening to this in small doses. There are a lot of very funky bits, from live shows and unreleased tracks. Some of them later appeared on other Clinton rerelease projects. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone but a fanatical collector, though, or someone looking to make a record. Giving this a rating is somewhat pointless, because it serves its purpose well, but it's not really meant as something to be listened to by the general public.
